What are the tasks of the Niedersächsiche Studienkolleg?

The Niedersächsische Studienkolleg is an educational institution of the state of Lower Saxony at Leibniz Universität Hannover. For more than 50 years, we have been successfully preparing international applicants for the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) [university entrance exam]. Successful completion of the FSP entitles students to study at German universities and colleges. Our students come from countries whose higher education entrance qualifications (HZB) are not recognised as equivalent to the German Abitur. Therefore, the FSP determines whether the language and subject knowledge are sufficient for admission to a specialised degree programme.
